Ashton is an American jazz/blues vocalist currently based in Bristol, England. She studied commercial voice at Belmont University in Nashville, TN for 3 years before moving to the UK. At Belmont, her love for the greats of 1940s jazz - Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, ect. - flourished and continues to influence her music today.
