SEEKING
Band to Join, Keyboard, Drums, Acoustic Guitar, Lead Guitar, Rhythm Guitar, Vocalist.ABOUT
Hi there.
I'm pretty new to playing Bass but I practice hard, know my theory, practice hard, am enthusiastic and practice hard. I'm mostly looking for someone(s) of really any ability level at all (though some knowledge of key, chords and time signature are preferable I am happy to impart some wisdom in these areas if you like) to jam and/or practice and/or write and/or learn with casually. I'm mostly into progressive and alternative rock (if those terms mean anything these days, I'm not sure =/) but am very much up for trying new and interesting things.
So yeah, just send me a message if you're interested in chatting or meeting up or something.

Influences
Hard to say. I'm a pretty analytical person so I often get involved in the nitty gritty of music when listening casually in stores and other peoples cars. However the music I really throw myself into and try and learn from looks something like:
- Nine Inch Nails
- Incubus
- Modest Mouse
- Porcupine Tree
- Turin Brakes
- The Mars Volta
- The Beatles
- Pink Floyd
- Tool (and by extension A Perfect Circle)
- Radiohead
- Coldplay
- Mew
- John Frusciante (and by extension, Ataxia)
- Damien Rice
- Coheed and Cambria
- Interpol
- Nirvana
- Autolux
As well as a few others. So a kinda mixed bag, but still a bit of a theme there.

EQUIPMENT
Ibanez GSR200
GMB15 Practice Amp (though an Ashdown 180W is hopefully on the way)
Peavey Cables
Tuner, Metronome etc.
Not a lot of stuff but enough to make a decent tone (or so people tell me). As I said, I am relatively new, but stuff comes with time. Stay tuned and so on =P.
