Backwater were formed in 2008 by 4 experienced live musicians and are Scotland's Premier Status Quo tribute band. They played their first gig, collectively, at the Eagle Tavern, Prestwick in June 2009, where a short set was well received by an appreciative audience. They have since gone on to be the ultimate choice in Scottish Quo tributes, with glowing testimonials wherever they have played as well as an extensive fanbase.
