I'm a 26 year old bassist and vocalist looking for someone to start writing and playing with during the week (evenings). I'm with quite a busy gigging wedding/function band which goes out most weekends playing lowest-common-denominator pop music so it'd be great to do something interesting!
I haven't really done much with original music for a bit.. I occasionally tour with a sort of novelty surf rock band from Lancashire and we still release stuff occasionally but before that I've toured with a relatively successful female fronted indie pop band who I toured with for a few years.. and released quite a bit of stuff, some good, some dreadful!

Influences
I listen to a huge range of music, so I'm pretty open minded. Not really into playing anything too heavy anymore, I've sort of done that. Just more interested in having fun, hanging out, enjoying it and writing some music.
EQUIPMENT
mostly play bass (ibanez..) with practise amp got a big amp but it tends to stay with the function band as I dont drive.
I've also got (and sort of play although not very well) a banjo, uke, mandolin, bouzouki, a 12 string and acoustic guitar. Tried writing some stuff on my own but it was introspective drivel!!
