I have recently moved from Canada to Cardiff. I have extensive experience as a performing/touring and session guitarist and bassist (I've played countless gigs) and have taught guitar. I am affable, professional, love to collaborate and can work in small and large bands. I gigged a little bit with two bands in London, when residing there in the late 2000s, and I belonged to three bands in Canada over the years.

Two of these were function and bar bands working across a roots-based repertoire -- soul, RnB, reggae and ska as well as some pop and classic and contemporary rock -- and another was an original dance band working in a rock reggae style, signed briefly with Virgin records. Amidst all this I played on recordings by Dutch Robinson (originally with Ohio Players), Universal Honey and Beau Dixon and have played live with the Mellotones and spoken word and dub artists d'bi young and Afua Cooper -- all of whose work and sound you can investigate through YouTube.

Adding to this range, I can play to varying degrees in rock, folk, jazz, classic country and western and hip hop styles. I also write original songs and really enjoy crafting guitar parts that are just right for the song.
