My name is Beth and I'm based in West London, near Hammersmith, and I've played drums since I was 12. I've been in a lot of bands over the years from Slipknot tribute bands to an R&B covers band (to pay the bills at university), live drum and bass, to original hard rock/metal bands etc. I'm older now but still have plenty of time and energy.

A few years ago I moved to London and haven't been playing in bands in the city but the time is right to join a band now and I'm really looking for a metal band / musicians for regular practice (such as daytime Saturday in a practice studio), gigs, and most importantly having some fun with it.

I have studio recording experience along with lots of gigs including festivals and have experience playing to click tracks and using IEMs. I do have a full-time job which is important to me but I have time and commitment for a band too. Ideally I'd like to meet some open-minded, friendly, and like-minded people to take things seriously as something we all enjoy doing and create some great stuff together.

Influences

I'm very influenced by metal from 80s thrash metal such as Anthrax, Power Trip, Xentrix etc, nu metal like Slipknot, Mudvayne, and Korn all the way to modern metal such as Sleep Token, Svalbard, and Spiritbox, but I also love a really broad range of music and I'm not a genre purist. I mean, we all love Chappell Roan, right! :) I go to a lot of gigs and lately have seen Cradle of Filth, Anthrax, Kreator, Testament, Obituary, Sleep Token, and Slipknot. Next year I've got tickets to Spiritbox, Gama Bomb, and Vio-Lence amongst others.

I especially love a modern sound and love bands that blend metal with samples, synths, and modern influences.

I also have a small 5-seater crew van to carry my drums in which is probably a bonus too! :D
