Hi, I'm a 19 year old vocalist, somewhat acoustic guitarist and beginner ukulele-ist who's just finished a 2 year performing arts course and would really like to get back to doing the music I want to do, instead of what I've been told to do.
So basically I would REALLY like to form a band! I'm not the kind of girl who wants it to be all about me just because I'm the vocalist, I want to collaborate with people who are as passionate about this as I am. I would ideally like for us to write our own stuff, but to get us started I'm all for covering songs and making them our own.
The genres I've given are just a range of genres I can sing and have sung in the past, but I'm always open to new stuff and merging genres together and just generally experimenting and finding our own sound! (Ugh, I could only select 4 genres: I also sing Rock, Lounge and R&B :) And I can sing opera if that comes in handy at all!)
