Hello, I’m Bethany, a local percussionist in Bath.
I picked up drumming at 12 and managed to snag a distinction in Grade 8 drum kit by the time I turned 18.
During my time at Aberystwyth University, where I studied Physics, I also played percussion in various ensembles, like the University Concert Band, Philharmonic Orchestra (Philomusica), and a local brass band. Additionally, I did some session work for local theatre productions and touring bands.
Since graduating, I’ve settled in Bath, playing with the Bristol Concert Wind Band and an all women band, Fanny Pack. I take on session work and play with a few other musicians and groups in the area. In my spare time, I am learning the piano and am a Guide Leader in Training at a local Girlguiding unit, occaisionally I also play ice hockey.
I am currently working with the Orchestra of Everything Foundation to deliver music lessons and private drum lessons at local primary schools as well as tutoring some orchestral percussionists at local secondary schools!

EQUIPMENT
7 piece classic rock drum kit, sticks (classic and assorted mallets). A small medley of auxilliary percussion bits and bobs plus access to orchestral percussion instruments to borrow.
