Hi,
I am looking to set up a Swing band. Those of you I'm looking for will know what Swing is! I love all those Great American Songbook classics. I enjoy pop and film music as well. I am a pianist by trade but I play other instruments at an amateur level.
I'm looking to find a few other musicians mainly brass as that is the sound of Swing in many ways. A drummer is also needed!
Hopefully we can play for fun and once we work well together we can do a few gigs, there is a big call at the moment for good big bands as there are hardly decent ones around.
Rehersals would take place in the Croydon area so you should be fairly local. Please get in touch for more info. Thanks!
