Bassist required to deputise for 3 months (June to August) in a well established pop/rock covers band based in the Leeds/Wakefield area.
Big Time Charlie are a popular and in demand covers band working at functions for private and corporate clients and in clubs, primarily across the North of England. Our bass player is taking some time off so we need someone who can step into his shoes for a 3-month stint. We have a professional setup; van, agent, busy diary, pro gear and a desire to give the best nights’ entertainment to our customers.
We need someone who is or has been a professional standard musician, approximate age range 21-55. This is not a jam - there are good quality paying gigs waiting for the right candidate. Attitude has to be right; no divas, no timewasters. Backing vocals would be great but are not essential. You would also be required to help in the setup and break down at each gig and to rendezvous at the van prior to each engagement. (Wakefield).
You will be required to learn approximately 30 songs in order to fulfil the role.
