Acoustic guitar player and singer.
Looking for one or more musicians or singers to form a duo or group.
I like good lyrics, harmonies, rewarding music and pleasant sounds. I have time for any music that has heart and soul, and some time for music that is just cool.
My main inspiration has been the classic singer-songwriters, but I enjoy any compelling songwriting and a wide variety of styles, instruments, percussion and voices. I have a repertoire of around 80 songs that I can sing and play by heart, or could easily learn again, about half of which are by Dylan. I also love Stereolab, but don’t play anything like that.
I enjoy finger-picking songs and finding ways to arrange less obvious songs by bands for acoustic guitar. I've done some quick home recordings and uploaded a couple of examples. I also play some flamenco and classical pieces. If you'd like to chat through any ideas, please get in touch.
