‘The Godz of Rock’
My Name is Bob Young I am a pro musician, luthier and and artist.
I am in the process of forming a band made up of a group of musicians some of whom will be Parkinson’s sufferers like me and some who will not. I am forming the band ‘The Godz of Rock’ out of frustration and anger at being struck down with Parkinson’s disease. This band has been formed to encourage all Parkinson’s sufferers but in particular it is for the musician who now finds it difficult to play. Despair is a word most Parkinson’s sufferers are well acquainted with and I have had had my fair share of that. Many times I have cried “Why me lord”. But I've always got the same answer ‘Why not Bob”
So..“Don’t let what you can’t do stop you from doing what you can do”

Jason Stewart (non Parkinson) has joined the band as our lead singer and front man. He plays rhythm guitar. Tez Young ex ‘Dirty Work’, ‘Sweeney Todd’, ‘A band called George’ (non Parkinson) on lead guitar, drums and vocals. Bob Young ex Sweeney Todd, ‘A Band Called George’ (Parkinson's sufferer) on guitars, keyboards, blues harp and vocals.
