Bridgewater Without's current singer/guitarist is leaving the band as he is soon to become a father so we are looking for a new singer and a guitarist or a singer/guitarist. Bridgewater Without are becoming established in Sheffield, with a reputation for high quality music, musicianship and live performance. Our music has strong influences from jazz, gypsy, country, blues and folk but are always happy to adapt our sound when new members come on-board but obviously want to keep the core of what we do - acoustic, well crafted, well performed Americana with plenty of room for improvisation and vocal harmonies. We have original compositions which can be heard on our page (link below) and would be more than happy to write with or perform songs by new members. We also do a number of jazz/folk/blues/country standards, which I have listed below to give an idea of our sound and influences.
