Hi all,
Me and my friend recently started playing together for fun. He plays drums and I play guitar (drummer has played for a while and I've not been playing for very long). At the moment we are just trying to learn some songs we both like in a practice studio on a Sunday morning. We are both guys, 33 and known each other since high school.
We have been working on these songs so far: Shook me all Night Long (AC/DC), Rebel Rebel (Bowie), Honky Tonk Women, Brown Sugar and Jumpin' Jack Flash (Stones), Place your Hands (Reef) and Money for Nothing (Dire Straits).
We would like to find a bass player and vocalist to join us. Since we are just playing for fun (at least for the moment) this would probably suit people who are less experienced or looking to practice with a makeshift band but if you have some experience of being in a band then that would help us out too. Looking for easygoing people who have a sense of humour and don't take things too seriously. Males and females of all ages and walks of life welcome.
