Our duo, Buckner Building (recorders, violin, vocals and electronic backing), lead your ears to places not always easily located. We make music that has been described as ‘unsettling alternative folk’, shifting between fragments of recognised traditional songs and disruptive contemporary interventions. We are drawn to the macabre, the melancholic, the outsider.
