Chris James, Bass Player.
Chris started life as a classical guitarist,achieving Royal School of Music Grade 8,and taught briefly on leaving school.He also performed many solo guitar performances around this time.Soon after this, he discovered his love for Bass and became a professional Bass player,playing,performing and recording with many name artists including;
Jay Aston(Bucks Fizz),Dave Calqhoun("Guitarist of the Year 1994,ex Bow Wow Wow,Ozzy Osbourne,Go west,),Michael Stoddart( Atlantic Soul Machine),Small World (supporting Reef,Feeder,Fun Loving Criminals),played and toured American stadiums with Mike Smith and the Rock Engine (Dave Clark 5 singer/keyboardist)and Doug Lean (lead guitarist with Richard Sharp band who's worked with Kenny Jones (The Who) and Ringo Starr(Beatles)to name a few, The Gimmicks, (with famous Swedish Producer Leif Carlquist,supporting Joe Cocker in Puerto Banus Bullring,Spain,and arranging and performing on Album "Move to the Bossa Groove"),The Mighty Pimps (Spain),Bai Kamara (Belgian based singer/songwriter),Nader Hamid,(guitarist/singer/songwriter,also performed on his album "Interviews with the Lost Prince of Babylon"),worked as session musician for Warner bros,sessioned for Arkana(Warners),worked as songwriter/guitarist at Xenomania (with Brian Higgins,writer of Cher's "Believe",and Sugarbabes,Girls Aloud),Crusher Jones (Spain),The Might Pimps,Spain(Almeria and Winter Blues festival,Granada,2010)Chris has also had his own 10 piece band for a number of years in and around London area.He is vastly experienced live,as bassist,guitarist or vocalist,arranges songs,co-writes original music aswell as over 80 original songs,a number of which are published.Equally at home in the recording studio,production and complete arrangements,most at home on the Bass.
