My name is Cam. I've played in bands for years & would love to play in your band.
Bass - I love to play funk / jazz or anything challenging. Can sight read from a lead sheet - might be a bit out of practice. I've played in all sorts of bands from thrash metal to jazz standards to rock fusion to pop.
Drums - Very busy player. I've played professionally with a cabaret act around holiday parks and clubs. Can play to a click.
Currently, i play bass with a funk soul & pop band. We have around 6 - 10 gigs per year. I have plenty of free time to jam / gig with another band. Also got lots of stage experience with setting up gear, getting sound right on & off stage and playing sets (obviously).
Ideally, i'd like to jam with players of similar ability. Style of music is unimportant as long as it's interesting. I'm easy to get along with and can help a lot when it comes to arrangements / key changes / idea input.

Influences
Loads. I love most music.
Band / Artist that influence the way i play (in no particular order) include:
Metal: Deftones, Enter Shikari, Megadeth, SOAD, QOTSA, Primus, Jinjer, Anthrax & Korn
Pop / Rock: Stevie Wonder, Prince, RHCP, Earth Wind & Fire, Steely Dan, Madness, Queen, The Beatles & Jimi Hendrix
Funk / Jazz: Vulfpeck, Snarky Puppy, Chick Corea, Jaco Pastorius, Victor Wooten Buddy Rich & Jamiroquai
I also love harcode, gabba, jungle, classical, hip hop, trip hop, minimal techno, etc... But i'm not a big fan of country.

EQUIPMENT
'Frankenstein Bass' ... part Roxonix Fantom 4 string lime wood with RT-88 passive pick ups & part Yamaha RBX 260 maple neck with 24 fret rosewood fingerboard. It's a beast to play and i can get a great sound out of it!
Selection of amps ... for gigging i use Line 6 LowDown LD300. 300 watt combo with 15" speaker, has tonnes of effects and can emulate loads of genre styles. Good enough for pubs and smaller clubs with DI ... It has a DI though.
Drum kit is a mix of parts too ... My breakables are gig worthy, rest of the kit needs some restoration but still sound decent.
