My name is Cameron Spencer and I am a 27 year old keys player specialising in Rock, Blues, R&B, Funk and Soul music. I started playing the piano aged 8 and have been passionate about music ever since.
After working through the ABRSM Classical and Jazz grades, I began studying Music and Music Tech A levels at college. From 2014 to 2016, I was tutored by highly regarded industry professionals such as Brian Henry (Soul II Soul, Mica Paris) and Frank Tontoh (Amy Winehouse, George Michael) at the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford, where I achieved a 2:1 in Professional Music Performance.
I have a wealth of experience performing live and recording in studios, as well as a diverse knowledge of theory, culture/history and music technology. My repertoire consists of approximately 250-300 songs.
In 2019 and 2022, I was working for Princess Cruises with party band 'The Sound'. In between contracts, I depped for function bands, laid down keys in various studio sessions for artists inc. DD Allen and played with exciting original bands/artists such as The Maitree Express (tour of Andorra), while also finding the time to collaborate with up-and-coming producers like Sudhan Gurung.
In addition to playing live, I create and mix my own music using software such as Logic Pro X and Sibelius.
