Been playing guitar since school but only really started taking it seriously during the last 7 - 8 years. I'm a moderately accomplished player but certainly not a professional. I like most genres except Rap, Jazz, Hip Hop & Heavy Metal. Almost anything else is fine. If the song sounds good, I'm happy to learn to play and sing it.
I play rhythm guitar, lead vocals and backing vocals.
Looking to put together a band of like minded middle aged musicians, ideally good bedroom players, that have never really played in a band before but enjoy joining in on jam and open mic nights, that would also like to be part of a band but have just never found the time. Don't even mind starting off as an acoustic duo and building from there.
Not looking for big ego's or Lone Rangers. Want a band that can work together.
Gigging later on if things start sounding good.
I have most of the stage gear for gigs, PA, mics, stands etc and a place to rehearse. I am also setting up a small recording studio at home for anyone that might be interested in recording stuff later on as well.
