After meeting at a South London dank den of a studio, these two restless souls discovered a shared love of music and humour, both of a darker persuasion, and began playing in an all-out alt-rock band together. However, they soon realised that they were ambling down well-worn paths. This prompted a reshuffle, and the birth of a new project which is guided by the ambition to open up their staple indie/alternative identity to other different musical genres. This is evident in earlier offerings such as "Crawl Out" and "Slippery Under Footing", but a bolder and more solid sound has since evolved into the latest tracks "As the Night Draws In" and "12Nine11".
Ceramic State is now performing as a 2-piece but looking for fresh vocal and instrumental talent to build a collaborative outfit, and take the show on the road...
