ABOUT

Hi there!

My name's Richard, and I moved to Bristol in 2013. I'm seeking like minded young musicians (20s + 30s) who are interested in forming a folk duo/band for fun and light gigging.

I played mandolin and sung lead vocals in a contemporary folk band based in Nottingham. We released a couple of EPs and did some light touring across the country. I also have a background in playing drums in a few bands whilst growing up.

I'm keen to find a musician or two to accompany me with some folk songs. Ideally I'd love to collaborate with a fiddle player, tin whistle, tenor banjo, accordion, folk instruments along those lines! I'm open to suggestion on playing new songs and collaborating on new ideas too. I'm also up for playing traditional tunes.
