Strong female vocalist desperately seeking a backing band to rehearse and jam with and create a new act for gigs, Already well established in pubs and clubs all over the uk as a solo artist and part of a duo for the last 15years its time to up the anti and create a new act and i'd love to do it with live music now instead of backing tracks. I have plenty of connections ready for gigs and auditions but first of all need to put the act together. Being a strong vocalist (basically i have a big gob) i feel i can't push my full potential at the moment using pre-recorded tracks so i'd love to become part of or create a band so i can trully call myself a live act.

so many to choose from ....... i'm a huge fan of female 'power houses' such as Pat Benetar, Blondie, Sinead O'Connor, patti Smith, Alanis Morisette, Annie Lennox etc, but i'm more about the music and song then necessarily the artists. Anything with grit, passion and attitude or real soul to the track. I also sway towards 80's and 90's music and artists, Lisa Loeb, The Cranberries, James, the Stone Roses, Bon Jovi, 4 Non Blondes, Heart, No Doubt to name a small handful but still a few faves from the more current charts such as Paloma Faith, Jessie J, pink, Lana Del Ray, Kings of Leon, The Killers, Elbow, Coldplay, Florence and the Machines etc. So think it's safe to say i'm quite flexible when it comes to what song choses i'd perform.
EQUIPMENT
Full Dynacord PA, Speakers, 2 syneiser radio mics, Lead mics, access to recording studios (i have 2 close friends who'd only need a little persuading haha)
