ABOUT
I've been playing bass in a London band Goldskool since late 2023. A few years ago I formed a band with my work mates and had a few rehearsals, with a focus on covering some rock and indie pieces.
In my youth I used to play the guitar and scream to the mic in a hard-core band For Her Pleasure. I then lost interest in playing only to pick it up again after the best part of two decades. I’ve been playing my favourite tunes regularly for the last four years or so, purchasing a few nice instruments along the way.

Influences
Mainly indy stuff - my “formation” years coincided with grunge, noise and post-rock. The 90-ties is really my thing, I really like Radiohead, REM, Beirut, PJ Harvey, Jeff Buckley, Sigur Ros, Morcheeba, Soundgarden and Sonic Youth. And I’m wondering if anyone ever releases anything nearly as solid as The Jesus Lizard’s “Head” record.
