Hi, I am just looking to play for fun. I am not seeking to join a regularly gigging pub band. I played in several original music bands from mid 70s to mid 80s. Started off in the 70s with rock and melodic prog-rock, then moving into the 80s more pop rock. As well as being the drummer, I also wrote a little and assisted with arrangements. I rehearsed a LOT to create really good original songs and a tight band, but probably only played about 50 gigs. I have spent about month in studios (adding up all the days here and there) and sessioned on an album by a top African artist that was released in Kenya. I stopped playing for 35 years (where did the time go!) and picked up sticks recently when I retired from my day job. I have a spacious rural rehearsal room near Tiverton (with a pa system).
