SEEKING
Band to Join, Vocalist, Rhythm Guitar, Drums, Keyboard.ABOUT
I'm 42 and looking to meet for rehearsal once a week in the evenings and gig once a month - not a great deal of time, but I'll be well practised and coming to rehearsal knowing the songs and my parts. I know when to play (and when not to - no ego)
Been playing for 25 years - own gear and transport. Based in Faversham.
Ideally we'd form a decent covers band - rock up some generic pop or something - a good song is a good song whatever the genre / maybe a power trio or something? Needs some pretty strong vocals though.
Examples:

Reason being:
a) punters will know the songs so ntly more accepted and crowd pleasing than original content. Easy to get gigs and perhaps paid work (not essential).
b) easier to practice to and get everyone up to speed quickly and everyone on the same page since we all know what it's meant to sound like (essential for musicians with limited time together for rehearsal).
c) avoids having to write from scratch which takes forever and I've done it, many times - no interest in that kind of slog - just want to have some fun without giving my life to it.
Any way - that's MY vision, but I am open to others - being in a band usually means you won't get to have your own way! Message me if interested.
