Been playing bass for a few years, played in a couple of progressive metal bands for a couple of years and thats mainly what I want to do. I miss being in a band but no musicians take themselves seriously enough to make something out of being in a band and its too much money for me to travel up the road to jam with people who are only half interested.
I dont know a lot of theory, not enough that I can improvise anyway, but I know the fretboard and some scales well enough
