I had a guitar for close to 20 years, but I started taking it seriously only a couple years ago - I got some better gear and established an actual practice routine. I did a couple smaller gigs joining some mates on cover shows mostly for sh*ts and giggles, and I'm pretty much looking for the same now - however I'm absolutely not against writing and playing original stuff.
As far as styles go I'm pretty flexible, however I grew a certain fondness for fusion genres recently and over-the-top edginess isn't really my speed anymore.
