Currently playing with the Paul McCartney project: Band on the Run. And function band Press Play. In summer 2018 I put together First Principles, playing a mixture of great songs by great writers, some familiar some not. Stripped back, often acoustic, nicely played, and with a terrific female vocalist. Think Sade, Alison Krauss, Goteye in style. Prior to this I played with West54, a 10 piece jazz/funk outfit, and before that I was playing acoustic Americana stuff. Previously I worked with female vocalists Michelle Ward and Helen Connelly, playing jazz, blues, pop and country influences with a stripped back 'live lounge' style, gigging around Essex and London venues and some local radio. I've been playing for many, many years and have loads of experience in the rock and pop sphere with both original and covers bands. I write and record at home too.
