I am founder of digital-acoustic sound collective Crimson Yew. We are all experienced musicians who gig and play regularly together and with other bands. Crimson is a creative project thats been going for around 18 months and is looking to grow and expand our audience with experienced and committed musicians. We believe In what we are doing, have a bunch of new material and want to experiment and develop our sound. Named after the Bleeding Yew of Nevern, we write, produce and perform songs that weave natural and cultural themes.
Crimson Yew is formed by - Leonora (cello and vocal), Trev (drums), Lois (viola and vocal), Paul (electric and double bass), Polly(visual artistry) and Jonathan (songwriting, piano, synth, and vocal). Our sound is hard to box, but spans piano-based acoustic and synth based electronic.
