Im Dan. Im a lead guitarist looking for the right people to form a rocking covers band. Im currently 'retired' from playing music (loads od experience), and need to buy an amp (which i will do once this seems to be taking shape) and just jam now and then through my PC. Ive toyed with this idea for years and want to see if there are people out there who want to do the same.
I wanna do mostly older rock classics, and hard rock them up a bit, like hinder did with thunderstruck and born to be wild, or code seven did with the boys of summer.
My ideal set list is would be;
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
Born to be wild - Stephen wolf
Mad world - tears for fears
White wedding - Billy idol
Sweet dreams - them peeps
Purple rain - prince

Smoke on the water - deep purple
Rebel yell - Billy idol

As i said, i dont want to cover them to the record. For example, go listen to code seven and there version of boys of summer. Ignore the screamo chorus vocals, but the actual way it is covered.
