ABOUT

I play tabla (indian hand drums) to a reasonable standard and have less experience on a number of other instruments, mostly hand percussion. I can pick up new drums/percussion quite quickly due to my experience on Tabla, in comparison with which most things seem quite straightforward!
I have also written lyrics in a variety of styles (mostly alternative rock and folkrock), which I am naturally keen on testing out if anyone's interested...
At present I'm hoping to meet up with anyone in gloucestershire - or within sensible travelling distance - who has a genuine interest in making some great original music. I don't really care what the genre is, so long as the end product sounds good to me! I'm more interested in live performance at present, but would also be happy to have a go at recording.
