ABOUT

I am a talented and versatile Tunisian musician with a passion for percussion. I started my musical journey at the age of 12 playing the Mezwed and continued to expand my skills to include several other instruments such as the Nay, Douf, and Darbouka. My reputation as a talented artist in the oriental music scene grew quickly.

My love for percussion led me to explore Latin music and I became proficient on the conga. I pursued my studies in music and musicology at the Higher Institute of Music and earned a master's degree.

I am constantly seeking new challenges and exploring different percussion instruments such as the Tar, Timbales, and others. Eventually, I found a passion for the drums, inspired by great musicians such as Dave Weckl and Dennis Chambers. I strive to bring a unique imprint to Tunisian and North African oriental music through my drumming.

I have had the privilege of performing on prestigious stages such as the Carthage, Hamamet, Djerba, and Sfax festivals, and collaborating with local and international musicians. I am considered a skilled drummer and composer, and take part in various projects such as Gamra and 24 Parfums.

What sets me apart is my unique musical style, influenced by Western music, and my improvisational ability. I strive to bring a creative and inventive approach to each performance, positioning me as a sought-after studio recording drum player.
