We're an 8-piece who have spent the past 7 years finding our style, writing, recording, etc. We're looking for a new keyboard player and female backing singer to replace 2 members who recently left due to commitment issues. We hope to find committed, passionate and motivated people for both roles.
These 2 members left at a point where we were preparing to gig and release a single / video. If you are a quick learner who wants to dive in to some challenging and fun music, please get in contact.
The vocals are the key part of the band, with a main male singer and 2x female/1x male backing. Complex harmonies, counter-melodies, unique lyric style. Musically, keys- and synth-heavy, also a lot of programming and some MIDI performance.
Current age range 21 - 35. Based in Seven Sisters/Tottenham, but live across London and Reading.
Not influences... but:
Talking Heads, They Might Be Giants, Deerhoof, Cornelius, D'Angelo, Dirty Projectors, XTC, Prefab Sprout, Bjork.
We also love jazz, classical, soul/neo-soul, dance, world music of many kinds and aim to draw from all types of music to create our unique sound.
