ABOUT

I just love playing music. I learned to play folk stuff when I first picked up the guitar back when I was 14. 1 grew up in the grunge era so that’s had a huge influence on my playing style. I played in a few bands when I was young and nothing has ever replaced that feeling you get when you gel with other musicians and that feel that magic moment playing together. I’ve always loved folk and Celtic music heading through to the alternative band like the levellers. I’d really love to learn the accordion or play with fiddle and accordion players. That folk style feels very natural to me. But again I still love all the grunge music. From there I went into a trash metal phase. I always felt awed but the technicality of the musicianship. Whilst I have always put together some of my own musical pieces. Mostly improvised or jutsnoittlw riffs I’ve never been able to write lyrics. Just seems that someone else has always been able to express it better.
I’m 46 now so the prospect of a musical career and touring the world seems rather far behind me but I juts love playing guitar. Would great to meet others to play and collaborate with.
