Bassist with over 400 gigs experience including large gigs, weddings, outdoor events, recording etc with a professional approach to practicing and gigging. Based in Ipswich with easy access to A12 and A14, I'm happy to travel (my last two bands were based in Essex)

I made my debut in the Railway Pub in Ipswich in 1991 playing 12 bar blues. I have now been playing in bands in and around Suffolk and Essex for over 30 years. I've played a lot of rock covers (classic/indie/90's) and over the last 10+ years I've been playing a wide variety of material in party/function bands from rock and pop to jazz standards.

I also play electric upright bass and double bass, I have a good grasp of theory and can follow a chord chart.

I enjoy learning new songs and will put in time/effort to learn material before practices/gigs. I'm also available for dep gigs.

I was raised on a diet of bass playing greats Paul McCartney and John Deacon but my musical tastes are wide and I'm ready to play anything that'll get people up and dancing. I love playing a hot and sweaty pub rock gig as much as I enjoy playing a function or party
