Hi there! I'm Dave & i'd love to be involved in a great hard rock / metal / prog band - to gig, tour, write music with like minded people, break down boundaries and make music people will enjoy! We can all dream can't we :) ideally I want this to be successful enough to build a career, but whatever happens I just want to have some fun on the way. Just getting back into my singing after a few years off so just setting up profile now - I used to shout punk a lot but training myself with more classic rock skills. Influences
Vocally: Dio, Jorn, Jon Oliva, Daniel Guildenlow, Dee Snider - these are the guys i most sound like, my vocal style (although I won't pretend to be quite of that calibre).
Musically: Rainbow, Protest the hero, Black Sabbath, Saxon, Sleepytime Gorilla Musuem, Billy Ocean, Tool, Bjork, Dio, Pain of Salvation, Coroner, Cardiacs, Ihsahn - a real mix, but generally heavy & experimental.
