I have been playing bass on and off for 30 years, and have played many different styles of music live including progressive rock, classic rock, blues, punk, indie, folk, reggae, electronica, and dance.
I am hard working and committed, and enjoy playing as much now as when I first started.
Ideally, I am looking to join or be part of a 3 piece band as I have enjoyed this combination the best, and like the challenges this offers, but I am open minded.

Influences
Wide and varied...but including progressive rock; 'krautrock'/electronica; 70's/early 80's horror/sci-fi film scores; noise; classical (but not opera); funk; folk; world music; ; blues; jazz; some classic rock and pop; punk...among other things. I'm open minded, and like to be forward looking/boundary pushing when it comes to music...favourite bands tend to change on a regular basis, but are likely to include Rush; Genesis 70-80 era, Steve Hackett; IQ; Steven Wilson; Trees; Satie; Tangerine Dream 70 - 84 era; Steve Hauschildt; Pye Corner Audio/ House in the Woods; Boards of Canada; Klaus Schulze 71 - 80 era; Zombi; Goblin; Talk Talk; Cardiacs; Field Music; John Carpenter; BBC Radiophonic Workshop 70's era)...among many others, too many to list here.
