AFS was founded in 2014 by members Dave & Gav after many years playing in cover bands, and then decided to try writing our their music with ‘ Back to Blue’ the single being their first production. Dave and Gav being a great lovers of seventies and eighties rock their music brings forward that acoustically driven sound melded with that modern twist.
Vocalist Gavin Ray & Guitarist Dave Sambrook meet 27 Years ago became good friends and after an old cover band of Dave’s had no singer, Gavin (with no previous singing experience) was persuaded to sing to help out in rehearsals at which point he was automatically added to the band.
The All Fings Stoopid style was not intentionally aimed for but just grew out of the joint musical interests of Dave and Gav. Hayley Theobald (vocals/guitar/keyboards) joined the band in 2017 adding yet more colour the band.
