Ok, so final attempt on Bandmix to find some friendly, capable, relaxed, not over committed, experienced musicians within reasonable commuting distance of Plymouth and the surrounding areas. Age, sex, species unimportant as long as you are fun, friendly, easy to work with, can play and are passionate about your music. You will need performance quality gear.

I am a very experienced vocalist, musician and charismatic front person, who has been very fortunate over the years to have performed at many, many hundreds of amazing venues and gigs throughout the UK, working with some wonderful musicians. My bands have often been award winning and have also enabled me at times to work with several iconic artists.

After many fantastic years on the road I retired from performing some 12 years ago after playing one too many nightclubs and having visions of becoming some sort of Elvis at Vegas as my audiences seemed to be getting younger and younger.

However, I have decided that there is one more good band in me, an opportunity to have some fun, work with some like minded musicians, who are happy to work towards putting on a quality show and play some great gigs. I have an excellent project idea and previously an excellent track record in building bands that have lasted years, but since relocating down to the South West and after months of searching and working with various musicians it has been more like trying to herd cats! As such I am open to ideas.

I am a friendly, professional, passionate, caring and enthusiastic person who wants to enjoy their music again. I would expect to gig across the South West, preferring higher quality venues, events and festivals if possible. I value having a good reputation as a quality, high energy, professional and entertaining band. I am less interested in the pressure of knocking out 100 songs in 3 weeks for a small pub gig. For me the performance is everything. So taking time to get it right is fine (Though not too long) I would also prefer not to have to travel 50 miles for a rehearsal if at all possible.

By the way, I would sell my wife, kids and house for a good keyboard player if there are still any in existence and available out there (I will have to double check all that with the Mrs first though)

This is a very honest and straightforward ad in the hope that it resonates with some musicians out there.
