So I play bass guitar, I have professional gear. I listen and play music from the late 70's through to the current rock / metal seen.

My biggest influences are 80's metal bands like Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Saxon, Judas Priest, Motorhead, and Nu Metal bands like Slipknot and Korn. With the odd bit of dark/death metal thrown in for good measure like Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, and Children of Bodom.

I can play rock, metal, blues, swing. I enjoy playing just about anything. So even if you are reading this and thinking " this guy is a rock/metal bassist " Be assured I am up for playing anything!

I am capable of writing my own original bass lines with my own style. Which usually highlights the feeling of the song over all, and doing what is best for the song. My style includes short bass runs when it transitions from verse to chorus or middle eight working along side the drum beat and or guitar(s), and usually a flashy ending with a long bass run ( solo ) in the outro if required. Overall I will do what a song requires, if thats old school playing in the groove and only playing root notes, then so be it!

When it comes to tunings I will play anything from standard tuning of EADG down to BEAD. Or any other tuning just ask. I play with either pick or finger style. I am currently learning slap.
