ABOUT
Moving to Manchester to study Audio Engineering and Production. Am looking to find bands / musicians to write and play with. Will have access to an amazing facility of recording studios so will be able to record and produce all that we work on to a studio mastered level during the time of the course.

Influences
Far to many to really mention but at the mo I'm really into my jazz / blues / folk / acoustic kind of sound. A few artists to think of would be
Alice Russell, Alana Davis, Lauren Hill, Anders Osborne, Lyambiko, Josh Rouse, Ledisi, MoZella
But I also love my funkier Nu Jazz / Acid Jazz stuff although I'm not that confident in my ability to play this style but am always learning, for look up these guys their great
Cookin on 3 Burners (they do a great cover of Feels Good INC), Fort Knox Five, AIM, Nightmares on Wax.
I love music so really don't like to limit myself by saying that I will only consider these kind of bands / artists. I love all things electronic as well from the Daft Punk / Justice / Digitalism style French house to the samba style Drum and Bass of DJ Patife and Marky. I just love music and would love to get involved with anyone that doesn't want to restrict to genres as well, so versatility or willing to try new things and come up with own sounds would be great.
EQUIPMENT
Currently only a digital piano and my computer, but am in the process of buying a small studio set-up as well as a couple of guitars and synths.
I also have access to an amazing set up in the way of the recording studios at Futureworks, which include a Neve VR Legend console (its big with lots of knobs and faders and sounds stunning for recording on!) as well as loads of other facilites that any good studio should have.
