Currently looking for a keyboard player to join our soul/funk band. As well as playing the usual key parts we are hoping to find someone who is open to interpreting some horn arrangements, string sections etc so that we can go out as a five piece band without having to call in brass players. Backing vocals would be a bonus, the ability to provide lead vocals would be a dream
We have been together for about 9 months now and have a set list we feel is gig ready. We aim to cover songs that have not been done to death although we will play superstition if we have to. We practice once a week at firebird studios in Brislington on Thursday evenings. Occasionally we rehearse at the Bass players home in Bradford on Avon as he has a home studio where we can record promotional stuff etc.
We are aiming to essentially be a wedding/function band but open to public events as well.
