Yes, okay, I'm 58 and haven't been playing much over recent years, due to work, family & daily life commitments etc, but I've still got that passion and want to get back into playing drums (after quite a gap) and to feel that passion translate into good music and fun.
I'm looking for some musicians and a singer to form a band or a band looking for a drummer. I'm looking for a kind of part-time commitment because of work and family etc, so eg rehearsals/gigs once or twice a week etc. I can rehearse weekend days or workday evenings.
I also write songs, or at least song ideas such as words and ideas of how they should fit together and I'm happy to (and need your help to) co-write them to turn them into fully formed songs.
I used to play in bands back throughout the '80s including at the Rock Garden, Dublin Castle, The Fox etc.
A word about committment: I'm really committed, but I work full time M-F/9-5, so it has to work around that. That's not lack of committment, that's life getting in the way.
