I am firstly looking for a bass player or drummer who shares my love of certain sorts of grooves - dub, reggae, world rhythms that make people dance. I am a competent, improving and creative musician in these areas and am obsessed by rhythm. I am more experienced on bass but preferring drums at the moment (it would be nice to be able to swap round).
I have a reasonable amount of free time and can travel to meet people if it looks promising.
It would be good to hear from any musicians in the area with the same tastes, including singers and MCs.

Influences
Faves include Creation Rebel, Dub Syndicate and much from the OnU-Sound label. My favourite new record is by El Michel's Affair. Also into funky post punk sounds like the Pop Group, The London Underground and Basement 5. As a bass player Jah Wobble was a big inspiration.
I'm also enjoying playing African and drum and bass rhythms. I've got quite a few music ideas I want to develop with someone.
