SEEKING
Bass Guitar, Background Singer, Upright bass.ABOUT
Old Folkie who now enjoys retirement from gainful employment and has time to play to his heart's content. I enjoy fiddle best of the instruments that I play and can busk to save my life. Just don't ask me to play from the dots at first sight, or to stick to them. I have great fun with music and I put in musical jokes when appropriate.

Influences
After growing up in a house where my grandfather played Rachmaninov, my uncle the ukulele, and my great grandma sang traditional Irish songs, I progressed through the cello at school, my first guitar (£3 at 15), fiddle at university, and other bits since, I can't be bothered trying to emulate others; I just get on with playing it. You may detect folk, jazz, blues, bluegrass, country, and classical in how I play.
