David Power is a bass player with wide experience of playing in original rock bands, tribute bands and cover bands doing soul, pop, rock, blues, folk and country.
He has played at all sorts of venues plus recording, TV and radio sessions.
Based in the English Midlands, these days he is mainly involved with tribute shows playing in theatres, tribute venues and festivals up and down the UK and abroad.
David is also involved in show production, tour booking and promotion. He owns and operates Great Gig Promotions, a tour booking and marketing business supporting UK Pink Floyd Experience, but with aspirations to produce and market other tribute shows.
At the moment I'm writing and gigging with Zoe Green, and producing a few shows with UK Pink Floyd Experience. But I'm always open to have chat about your project and if we can do something together.

EQUIPMENT
David's bass collection includes a selection of vintage P Basses, including a fretless. His 5 string is a Nordstrand vP5 built to David's specification.
Main gigging amplification is a TC Electronic RH 450 programmable head and 1 or 2 TC Electronic RS210 cabs. These are exceptionally portable, and take hardly any room on stage, whilst giving a very big tone. Outdoor festivals, or the tiniest pub are no problem with these.
Signal processing includes a TC Electronic Nova System, a Tech21 Sansamp and an EBS Octave Pedal.
In addition there is a “number 2” rig consisting of an Ashdown ABM 410H Cab and rack mounted ABM500 RC EVO II, but this is really just for monster outdoor gigs!
For touring projects everything is flight cased.
