Got a band going in the Plymouth area? Need a bassist? I will learn anything you want me to play, play whatever you want, write my own riffs if you want, all I want is a band that's going somewhere.
It takes something REALLY overly-heavy (Lamb of God etc) or Pop/electronica for me to not be able to stand it!
But don't mistake my compliance and easy-going nature for a lack of enthusiasm or commitment, I've got the hunger to chase this all the way, I just don't know which direction to run in!
I've played bass for about 18 months, guitar for maybe 3 years before that, I've taken professional bass tuition from Rory Pearse (check him out, the man's a bass monster!) for the last year, and in his words have:

All I want is a decent bandleader with a bit of direction to get me gigging again.

Influences
My favourite bands include: Rise Against, The Offspring, Avenged Sevenfold, Paramore, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
However, my music taste extends to include some things a little further out, such as No Doubt, A Perfect Circle, Smile Empty Soul, and Static X, etc. Even Eminem has musical value, you know =D
I generally prefer female-led bands, but would be perfectly happy with a male vocalist, so long as he can sing!
EQUIPMENT
Why is it that musicians get such satisfaction over writing these lists? Or is it just me?

Pedals: Boss SYB-5 Bass Synth, Boss TU-2 Chromatic Tuner, Boss ME-20B Multi-FX unit.
I use Planet Waves leads exclusively.
For rehearsal I have several portable “practice amps.” I have access to a larger rig for gigging, but ain’t buying my own unless it’s necessary. Transport could also be a slight problem, but can be overcome.
