I started learning guitar (mostly teaching myself) about 7 or 8 years ago, having never played an instrument before. I now feel I have reached the stage where I would like to play with some other people. I like all sorts of (popular) music from folk to soul, reggae, rock, blues, funk and disco, but as you can probably guess from my age, I was brought up on 1960s and 70s rock and blues.
