I've been playing rhythm guitar since I was about 14/15 years old. I'm originally from Cape Town, where I was in an underground band, playing gigs and practicing/songwriting fairly regularly for about 3 years.
In terms of songwriting, I've got a few I've put together that would benefit from collaboration with some bandmates and being part of the creative process. It's a bit of a mix of melodic, mellow, punk-ish, heavy-ish stuff.
I'm now in my 30s now and I've been living in the UK for about 4 years now. I'd love to pick up my passion again for songwriting with other musicians, performing live and just enjoying music before the opportunity to do it again becomes lost.
As a person, I'm quite relaxed and easy to work with when it comes to composing songs or just playing together. My ego is pretty much non-existent and what matters most is just whatever's best for the songs.
