ABOUT

Having organised and played in lots of bands over the years, based on my experiences, both good and bad, I now want to do it the right way, to build a great, entertaining band, with people who are synergetic, capable, and really get a buzz out of playing together. The format will be a four piece, playing accessible, crowd pleasing, Americana / country rock / rock material.

I am a lead/harmony singer who plays rhythm guitar - acoustic/electric and harmonica. The major stumbling block is always getting solid rhythm. This is where to start. I am looking for a precise drummer who can play lightly where needed, sympathetically, with a variety of styles. Then, capable lead guitar and solid bass players. We will need three-part harmonies, so at least two players will need to sing/harmonise.

We have a full PA system with lights. I have contacts for gigs. The band has a choice of names and I will build a website and materials to market it. I have a contact list of people who have seen the bands I've worked with whom we can communicate.

I'll coordinate a set list - avoiding the usual stress. It will have to include only songs that are memorable, and work well live. We will need to rehearse, but we won't start until we are all in place and really ready to get stuck in. I will coordinate the rehearsals, which should take no longer than three months then we'll be ready to perform.
